Yes. Its another MARINA Outing! This time its the Singapore Flyer & the Marina Barrage.
My Australian cousin in Singapore now! My parents decided to show her around in Singapore and brought her to take the Singapore Flyer today!
Now NTUC Club Member having promotion.... For $21 you can buy a Singapore Flyer Ticket & A 1 Way Hippo River Cruise Ride from Clarke Quay to the Flyer. (But you have to buy the ticket @ Downtown East) Went there last week to purchase the tickets =)
Early morning went to fetch her. Had lunch at Central, Kyomomoyama Restaurant. Food was fresh and nice, service was excellent except for the lack of food variety in the menu! LOL... Worth trying it! Quite budget for restaurant dining.
$67.30 for 4 persons. Ordered its curry katsu don set with a free icecream dessert and miso soup. =)
Took the cruise over to Singapore Flyer. Can view the Singapore River and the bridges and buildings along the CBD area.. quite a good ride for a 1st timer and of a course a tourist as you do not have to walk! LOL... Ex though. Lucky it was complimentary with the tickets from the Flyer we bought.
Was too early for the ride and we walked over to the Esplanade for some shots! Before my dad and brother joins us for the Flyer ride. LOL... Oh...reach liao.... we took the flyer... =)
Nice spectacular view of Singapore. =) Except for the upcoming IR construction that makes the view unsightly, overall view of Singapore quite nice =).. can see quite far! =)
Nice 1st visit to the Flyer! Was my FIRST time on the Flyer too! Overall experience quite fresh and brand new. Hope the London Eye would be nice too when I visit London end of this month!
Dad decided to bring us to the Marina Barrage later on in the day! Nice view of the Flyer from the Barrage. Brother didnt join us though.
Water looks dirty!!! OMG! Imagine this water you gg to drink it in few years' time! OMG! Its brown!
Some people mistook the sea water as the reservoir side when the dirtier side is our upcoming reservoir! LOL....
Went to Woodleigh Park for dinner.... juz a steak from a canteen of my dad's company's clubhouse.
Sleepy... OMG! Slept 6 hours only prior to this outing! Reached home at 3am today! And slept at 4am.... Woke up at 10am today!
Hope my cousin enjoys her stay in Singapore and enjoyed the day to the Marina Barrage and Flyer outing we had arranged for her to visit today!
Went out with Peizhen they all last night... drove out to eat prata and all.... will update pics in once they send to me =)
