2008 was a year of transformation. From military life back to civillian life? From office politics, backstabbing here and there like Little Nyonya (Haha....) and there back to school life again as a student and having to do your part as a project group member?

Frankly speaking, I had a floating period, and didnt do as well. Hopefully I can leave this stage and move on for the next semester. School's coming on 7 Jan. Hope I can be hardworking and diligent. =)

Enjoyed life back as a student.=) and also enjoyed the Europe Trip. as well as driving out cos i got my driving licence, though its only Class 3A. LOL...

3 Wishes for this upcoming new year.
- Achieve all DIs for my modules
- Win Toto (Minimum $1 million)
- Save up enough money to go overseas with friends on a holiday getaway

Idiot Weida... Pengyong, me and him doing this new year wishes list that day at Macdonalds and he stroke off my 2nd. Bloody idiot! LOL.... He say its impossible. Anyway, if the 2nd wish comes true, I guess it fulfills a lot of wishes right? LOL...

Without further delay, I wish all my friends and blog readers a Happy 2009 & Fulfilling Year Ahead!

Singapore (Changi Airport)

Departed from T3! My 1st time departing from Terminal 3! They have a butterfly mini rainforest in the airport! Went in for some snaps.... Before we depart for Singapore to Europe! Excited about this trip! =)

Germany (Frankfurt & Titisee)

FRANKFURT AIRPORT

Touched down at Germany's Frankfurt Airport after 13 hour plus plane ride from Singapore. Reached there at 8 plus in the night.

Was amazed that Frankfurt did not have street lights on their expressways. Its like
"What The...."

Daytime for Winter in Germany also quite short. Sun rises at about 9:30am and sets at about 5:30pm. Same for Switzerland. Sun rises at about 7am for UK and sets at about 4pm. So frankly speaking, it is nighttime most of the time.

Didnt spent much time in Germany. Except for Black Forest @ Titisee. It's simply magnificent! The snow view and all. The whole black forest is all white! And its lovely we see snow again! =) But view here is definitely nicer...

The whole city filled with snow and all. Had a black forest cake @ Titisee. Also visited their Cuckoo Clock and saw their demonstration of the cuckoo clock.

TITISEE

Switzerland (Rhinefalls, Lucerne City)

Its cool when we reach Switzerland because they use Swiss Francs (CHF)
Its about CHF $1 = SIN$1.30

Overall we only went to most of the French and German speaking area. They had no expressway lights as usual and its cute that they use one language for one area. So the whole country they use different languages as their main language. For French majority French, for German majority German. Its like Orchard use English, Chinatown use Chinese, Little India use Tamil and Kampong Glam use Malay. Then they also speak the language of that area.

Amazing! Anyway, its good that most can understand English. People generally friendly and they give good customer service.

Lucerne was nice with the bridge and overall cityscape.
They even have triple bendy buses. I wonder how these buses move. Haha.. Anyway, its a trolley buses. Perhaps the wires on top help to straighten the bus. They do have a lot of trolley buses all over Switzerland.

Rhinefalls was ok.

Chocolates a little bit cheaper than Singapore but they have a wide wide variety of chocolates, most never seen before!

Milk youghurt and cheese half price to 3/4. Wine and beer is like half price that of Singapore. Mineral water a little bit more expensive except Evian. LOL...

Visited their Local Supermarket COOP so many times lor. We shopped like crazy. I think we bought 25 kg or more of chocolates altogether. Hell lots of them. 5 kg from Belgium. 20kg from Switzerland.

Switzerland (Mount Titlis, Mount Pilatus)

Supposedly we were to go to Mount Titlis. Reached there. The cable car service was suspended due to strong winds and we made to make a detour for another cable car service to Mount Pilatus instead. Anyway, we did reach the mountain halfway only to take some snapshots and leave the area. LOL..

Anyway, we had a lovely time at Mount Pilatus. The wind from the doors were so strong we had to run over the strong wind to view around the mountain. Its so nice!!!!!

The Swiss Alps are really something. I guess nowhere in this world can I see such nice snowy mountain liao! Its really so nice! The pictures can really prove it to you how nice it really was. Winds were strong and its so cold up there!

The cable car ride up was especially nice when you can see so many things! People skiing, playing luges down mountain and all.

Had lunch at the top of the mountain. LOL.... Food was not bad. =)
