Celebrated Tsian Hwee's belated birthday two weeks ago when I came back. LOL... We went to Asia Grand Restaurant. Had lunch last year during ORD treat by Darian last year... Remembered the peking duck's skin was nice.... and always on promotion at $38 per duck... Back then I had a nice dim sum lunch then...
today was dinner meal.. dinner wasnt tat nice... and i guess their standards have dropped a little... the duck doesnt seem as nice as the one i tasted the 1st time... probably because the chevrons brilliant garden restaurant has taken over its place for nice peking duck skin... quantity was pretty little.. kinda disappointed...
the other dishes tat came werent tat good too.. the abalone was too small and not tat tasty ... tsian and zen's "pang" was good... according to them... the noodles was ok only... the rest... some tzi char can do better....
kinda disappointed... give it 4/10... the price wise i guess it was $60 per person.... really paiseh... i recommend something tat is not value for money.. haix..

We walked over from Bugis to Orchard Cineleisure to watch "Storm Warriors" after tat... Enjoyed Christmas lightings on our way.... kinda disappointing oso.... The movie, according to zen, wasnt as nice as the 1st episode.... anyway,... its juz plain fighting and fighting.. not much storyline... and some of the graphics were horrible....

The next day, my family and i headed down to Dairy Farm Nature Park, the park about 15 mins walk from my house and 3 mins drive away from my house. It's more to do with allowing me to walk more, lose more weight...haha...
Nothing much about the Dairy Farm Nature Park.... except for the defunct Singapore Quarry tat has no become a new conservation site by NParks.... the view is pretty spectacular...
to save all the walking, i recommend walking in from car park of Rail Mall.... it would take you about 5 minutes walk to reach the nice Quarry and have a nice picture taken.... in fact, if it is countries like Australia, this would have become a tourist attraction liao... lol.. Maybe its called Dairy Farm Creek. LOL...
Also went out with family one of the weekends.... We went to Toh Guan Road trade centre for lunch..... They have this Lam's Abalone Noodles... and it comes with 2 pieces of real abalone... for $6 a bowl.. pretty worth it and the abalone was ok too... we also ordered their special carrot cake and avacado ice cream which was good too... =)
On stand alone outings, I personally went down to IKEA Tampines... Had their swedish meatballs and turkey meal..... portion quite little... tink is about $18 for everything including coffee and all.... Once in a while can eat.... portion is too little for $18. =X Wanted to buy a display cabinet but didnt buy in the end... =X ...
Also went down to Ang Mo Kio tat day.... Jubilee Centre at Ang Mo Kio opens a Popeyes liao... next time no need go down Esplanade or Changi Airport for Popeye's liao... Tink they have a newer name... Louisana Chicken... lol... but its under Popeyes... =) I love their chicken breast meat.. lol.. =) Its juicy tender!
