Leaving home at 3am.
Departing Singapore at 6am. Flying via Northwest Flight to Tokyo Narita Airport transit to another plane to San Francisco in the afternoon =). Wondering how my results would be like. I hope AT LEAST ALL PASS. I hope they can release before 3am so I can have a look at it myself. =)
Had dinner with my grandparents today.... Celebrated early my mahmah's birthday at Owen Chinese Restaurant at Turf City. Nothing much.
The meal wasnt quite good. Service was quite bad. There is this PRC waitress who couldnt be bothered with us. My dad asked him if the set meal was 398 plus plus and she replied 398 jia jia... zzz... den we asked again... she say "dunno wtf you talking" (BU ZHI DAO NI ZAI SHUO SHEN ME in an angry tone and give us the "YOU OWE ME MONEY FACE") ... jia jia... she and her jia jia shit... anyway... tink she dun dare serve us... den ask her s'porean colleague serve... quite sucky... i hate prc waitresses who come to singapore and do not at the least learn some local lingo... jia her head... service wasnt good... 4/10...
as for the food... it was also 5/10.... not nice at all... i had a horrible time there... didnt eat much... i didnt eat much of lobster, crab, fish, veggie... i didnt eat half of the dishes.. as i dun like seafood.. and oso seldom eat... had 1 tiny piece of cheese lobster... the cheese wasnt nice... but my bro like the lobster. the rest dun really like.. the abalone was kinda small... the bill came up to 448 after jia-ying everything... wich is like.... $38 Service Charge and $29 GST .... Original set was $398.
Had sharksfins... peking duck too... not nice... my dad den said actually the chevrons restaurant was nicer... agree! =)
Had lunch at Ichiban Sushi this afternoon with shaun ... Ordered a udon only as i didnt wan to get so full.. had a free side dish, wich was octopus wich i didnt like and gave to shaun... soup base rich... but overall 6.5/10 only...
Had lunch with Yvonne yesterday at Upper Thomson Road.... It has been a while since I last met up with Yvonne... probably 1st outing for this year? We ate at a Roti Prata House.... Urm... overall i find the food is cheap.. paid about $10 for a ice teh cino, ice cream prata, one plate of small 5 coin prata with chicken curry and chicken and one plain prata....
The ice cream prata was too crispy... not too much to my liking.... i prefer the coin prata... havent eaten hot and nice prata for a while... lol... chatted about an hour over there... Overall it was quite good. Give it 7.5/10.
Had sapporo ramen the day before yesterday... at Bukit Panjang Plaza for dinner... they have this promotion... Meal costed me $9.25... one green tea, one gyoza and one ramen of your choice out of 6.... Overall it was value for money... ramen wasnt too big... smaller by normal standards.. but soup base is good.. overall its worth it and i look forward to eating it soon... Give it 7/10.
