Met up with Shaun on eve of Christmas eve to celebrate in advance Shaun's Birthday.... we met at Bukit Panjang Plaza.. our usual hangout place.... we had Ichiban Sushi for lunch..... the meal was pretty ok.... the beef meal we had was above average....
Went out with Zhenhui for $9.25 lunch deals at Bishamon Bukit Panjang Plaza last week.... Like to have a nice ramen... though portion not too big... a nice gyoza and hot green tea....
Met Weida on Christmas Eve.... Went to Great World City to watch Avatar with him... before that we went to eat at Crystal Jade Cantonese Cuisine...
Had their crispy roast duck.... the skin is perfect...nicest i ever had... but they didnt pay much attention to their quality of duck.. the duck was plain normal... but the skin is the best one i ever had...
We also ordered other dishes such as the promotional abalone and sharks fins.... lol.. and egg pudding as dessert...

For the movie Avatar, i would say its quite a good movie.... quite touching story.... worth the $8... except tat i would not advise you to watch 3D...
2D pictures are good enuff as there arent many scenes where the cartoon characters "pop out" of the scenes..
So an extra $5 to watch would be quite a waste... i watched the 3D version... 2D is enuff.. lol... but overall i did enjoy the movie..... those who havent watched it... YOU SHOULD GO AND WATCH! ITS NICE! =)

The following day, went out with my parents to eat Fig and Olive..... this time round the food wasnt tat nice...probably bcos its a set meal tat i ordered.. their ala carte food seems better... avoid rice whenever possible... they have poor quality rice...
But overall i am still tempted to eat back the steak i had the other time... it was nice... set meal wise can avoid. the crepe was good... quite a big portion and overall tastes great....

Met up with Pengyong in the late evening... We went to Junction 8 to watch "Sherlock Holmes" .... Movie full of British Humour.. may not be funny to us at all.. overall... can be funny sometimes when we understand.... and it comes with a huge amount of suspense... so the movie was worth watching... can be a little too draggy at times however with all tat conversations....

I brought him to eat coin prata at Upper Thomson Road after which... drove there... the long wait was terrible... its like 1 hour wait... they simply have too many customers... but i kinda like their prata a lot... eating it in the afternoon seems better.. the food is warmer.... =)

Met out with my tekong buddies last week too.... we met at marina square... and i suggested eating at my favourite lamianxiaolongbao outlet at Marina... Imperial treasure.... I SIMPLY LOVE THEIR XIAOLONGBAO... ordered 2 crates of xiaolongbao to eat personally... lol...
Had a nice time doing some catching up... we havent seen each other for a year plus... and its great we had an opportunity to meet, though not everyone was there... some working, some studying... we then went for a pool session.. wich i suck of cos... haha... i am a novice k.. lol....
Lastly, we settled down last at gloria jeans to chill out with some coffee... the coffee sucks... it was some gingerbread coffee wich i found it weird... lol.. tot it'll be nice.. the lemon tart attracted me... but the taste is "so-so"
