Went to Disneyland and California Adventure Park at Anaheim.... Overall, I feel the Disneyland and California Adventure Park is pretty old... it being the 1st disneyland that was being opened... in terms of size.. its about the same as japan... smaller if you exclude california adventure park...
Overall, the queue here is better.. shorter.... probably because the tour guide knows his way ... he brought us to the rides that is at the back of the park.. wich normally ppl would start from the front... and oso due to h1n1 lesser tourists, perhaps.... so it took us 30 mins at most to get to their rides.. missed out a few rides as it is still relatively big...
The Indiana Jones ride is definitely the best ride if you visit Disneyland Los Angeles aka Anaheim.... its fast.. and quite interesting... a lot of rides replicate those that i sat in Tokyo... so a little bit sian sometimes... they practically have the same exhibits.. lol...
The most scary ride in California Adventure Park was the Ferris Wheel... my mum actually freak out, as seen in the picture.... its a ferris wheel ride whereby the cabin swings 45 degrees up down when the ferris wheel spins... and the swinging is worst when the wheel stops spinning.. lol....
We also went to try out their roller coaster... quite good.. its about 8 minutes ride.... up down up down ... and opposite.... and as you can see the roller coaster actually moves around the whole of paradise pier...
Their disneyland is more leaned towards 3D shows... lots of them... and they are extremely good... not like those in Singapore where u pay a lot... get nothing much...
their cartoons really pop up and scare u.. They even have 4D shows... For example, the bugs life... there was this stinky bug tat farted and we could smell the fart... and oso spiders crawling over from the back of the chair.. pretty interesting! LOL...
Throughout the trip, the disneyland visit was the 1st time i see so many ang mohs.... throughout the california state visit i saw mostly Chinese, Mexican... didnt expect so little ang moh there.... but probably because California state is near Mexico.....
But kinda weak... its people... lots of them in wheelchairs... most of their aunties are already in the wheelchairs by the time they hit 40s - 50s...and what's more interesting is tat they can go for rides in the park... its kinda disabled-friendly.... i guess in singapore.. we arent tat friendly to those on the wheels.... =X
In the evening, we watched their Christmas parade... not bad... a little bit different from the one in Tokyo... but i would say the Tokyo one was better....
The other fountain show was kinda special... u have fire and all... and even a shop coming out at the end of the show... more interesting... didnt have tat in Tokyo....
Lastly its Disneyland's trademark... the fireworks.. tat ended our day...
