Yesterday celebrated Tsianhwee's birthday! We celebrated in advance cos I am going overseas and wun be back until Xmas eve. LOL... Went to Mushroom Pot for dinner ....
Overall food was nice. Soup was good, the mushroom soup.... the mala one lose a bit to chuan yi pin.... chuan yi pin one taste more spicy and nicer... Mushroom was fresh and quite nice to chew. The rest of the dishes oso quite fresh...
Ambience was great! Variety wise ok lah.... quite a lot... got a few cooked dishes.... if you want noodles oso have.... i liked their mantou... nice with condensed milk... weird combi but nice =)
We also bought him a wallet from The Wallet Shop... Hopes he likes the present.
Then we went over to Marina Square to watch the movie... The Day the earth stood still. Its the first day of screening! =) The movie got one part quite funny... a chinese conversation by the angmoh actors... they sounded so funny... haha...
Ending sucks however.... its like dropping the standards of the whole movie... overall can watch but i seriously hope they can make the ending nicer.... it ruins the whole movie....
Went to Selegie for some soya bean milk and youtiao b4 driving home after that.
Went out on Wednesday with my parents to Centrepoint. Had lunch @ The Eastern Restaurant.... for xiaolongbao and lamian... xiaolongbao okay... lamian not too impressive but still ok to eat... still preferred the one at Marina Square better. =)
Went to meet Weiqi at Toys R Us after that. Went to eat at Secret Recipe during his dinner break.
The soup was good... but I suspect its from Campbell can de.... smells the same. Steak ok. Main character is still their cheesecake. Nice. I ordered a set meal. =P Quite full after the meal.
Haha.. Weiqi, please remember to do my enrolment leh! LOL.. My future is in your hands!
