12/11/09 - Disneyland
Had instant noodles bought from 7 Eleven for breakfast! LOL..
Dont know what this flavour is but i know its a little salty.... quite nice though... i love the two pieces of "beancurd skin".. quite nice that i bought it again for another day's breakfast =)
Think its $3-$4....
WAH! Their disneyland is much much better than Hong Kong Disneyland... I think its 3 - 4 times bigger.. Entrance fee is 5,800 yen (about $90) Spent the whole day there.. quite big... quite nice.... except that one ride you will have to wait like 30 mins... cos there is about 100 people queueing for a single ride at any one time...
some you need to queue 60-90 min for the ride.... but you can get a fastpass 2 hours before for some rides... so you get priority queue whereby u only need to wait for 5 mins to get onto the ride....
Headed for Disneyland the next day... since it was a perfect sunny day... after 2 days of non-stop drizzling in Tokyo.... =)
We watched two parades... they had a special "Krissssmas" (In Japan Christmas is pronounced this way) parade.... quite nice.... all the disney characters parading... about 20 mins... den we sat on the floor to watch the performance....
Den they have a night parade wich was a lot nicer... like singapore's chingay.. just that disney characters are on the walk instead.. about 30 mins...
Fireworks was cancelled for that day due to strong winds.... unfortunately...
Settled down for lunch at about 3pm... after taking some of the rides and taking lots of pictures at Toons Town... I guess there was about 100,000 people in the amusement park tat day... pretty crowded.. and it being a weekday.... and quite amazed at Japanese's spending power... they are really supportive of Disney Characters... most wore Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse hats and walk about Disneyland, including those in their 30s and 40s... And their shops are crowded, with many locals buying the merchandise from Disney Stores like theres a sale going on...
The lunch was about 1,500 yen ($25) steak was quite weird.... a little bit less hard than NZ/US beef.... but a little bit harder than Taiwan beef... made nicely for you to eat, served in a heart-shaped...
But overall I enjoyed my day at Disneyland..
