Zhenhui's birthday on 10/10/08

Zhenhui's birthday yesterday! Together with Tsianhwee, we went to Square 2 @ Novena for a nice birthday dinner! Went to Hansang Korean Family Restaurant for Korean Food!






Went with Weida and Pengyong back den.... remembered this lovely restaurant with nice ginseng chicken soup.... and nice korean meat with a lot of side dishes! Look at the sides! Scary hor.... like Korean emperor like tat.....




We ordered a ginseng chicken soup, a bacon pork and marinated chicken =) the beef brisket doesnt taste nice..absolutely disappointing.... not nice at all.... but the marinated pork was nice =) The tray was unique.... u have soup below the meat....while they "peng kang" the meat for u.. nice service.... ytd they helped us cook all the meat... the other time we had to cook ourselves after the 1st round....




Although i liked the ginseng chicken soup a lot.... zen and tsian say tat actually there are places with ginseng chicken soup nicer den theirs.... but to me.... its the nicest i ever tried la... bring me to these places next time k...zen and tsian?
They commented though tat the silken tofu soup was nice.... i find it nice too.... but i rate my ginseng as no.1 ....haha....

Overall satisfying =) ... We decided to head down to Cineleisure for a movie... Saw Yvonne and bf there ... =)... so long nv see her liao...






Watched Connected @ Cineleisure! Its a remake of the english version Cellular.... but the movie was darn nice lah... so funny.... laughed like crazy at the start! =) Oso a nice thriller.... u dunno wads gg to happen next! sound effect definitely loud enuff.... we can jump when they fire gun shots..... cos we sitting at the 2nd row... next to the speakers.... -_-" ... I can say this is the BEST movie i watched for this year.... =) I willing to pay $12 to watch this movie....though i only pay $6 yesterday! Haha.... The Fairprice Plus Buy 1 free 1 promotion ($10 for 2)..... with the $8 (1 ticket) with uob card.... Nice view of Hong Kong! Its hills, skyscape and Tsing Ma Bridge....

Took 3N home! Home Sweet Home! Hope Zen enjoyed his day and oso the nice T-shirt we got him from Jimmy's @ J8 =)




Went out with SIM friends on tuesday! Ate @ Cineleisure! Sushi Buffet @ Suki Sushi as suggested by Roger... but never turn up cos he having fever tat morning..haiz...wasted... Ordered some scallops and ended up have to swallow it.... cos i dont really take seafood... i tot it was like some cheesy scallop...but the chilli sauce scares me.... and i had to swallow it...haiz.... if its all cheese... i would have liked it..... sushi overall nice lah.... tink everyone in singapore eat suki b4 liao rite.... so no need say le....




Walked around orchard with them.... went to starbucks for cake and coffee... den played "Mystery numbers" with them..... mixing the coffees....together mixing milk, smoothies, nutmeg powder and almond powder..oh no..... quite fun lah....played for an hr b4 gg home by 171....



took 171 to bukit panjang plaza....den cleared my capitamall vouchers @ swensen's together with weida and pengyong... november due! OH NO!..... muz clear by this week if not after exams vouchers expire le..... ate @ swensen's..... sticky chewy chocolate ice cream... and my fav. chicken baked rice from swensen's =) ....

East Coast Park

I really did it... I went to East Coast Park today! for cycling... suddenly feel like gg there to cycle.... so went lor...

Took 966 there..... 35 mins! 15 bus stops nia! Amazing! Off Peak hour...plus i reach bus stop bus come.... Reach there walk tunnel down....reach liao! Rented a bike... $6 for 2 hours plus a free bottle of mineral water..... Cycled like 2 hours.... Nice breeze.... its gonna rain... but thank god it didnt! LOL....

Was delighted tat my weight has shrunk to 118.6kg as of this morning.... simply by having 3 meals for one week..... =) .... was 119.7 kg the week b4...... tats like..... 1.1kg! =) ....


but sian.... today go exercise...down the drain liao.... 1st thing i step into macdonalds and ordered a soft serve cone....damn delicious lah..... so scared of milk these days! =X .... finally couldnt control liao..... bought 1....



den walked back... ate an additional char kway teow in.....at the marine parade hawker centre juz before dinner.... -_-" ... oh no....The char kway teow was damn nice..... got so many lard oil cubes!!!! and nice "kwang qiang".. dried chinese

sausage? nice... the char kway teow wasnt even dark...but it juz tasted nice! it has got to be one of the best char kway teow i've eaten for years..... it doesnt look nice.... but when u eat it.... so nice lah!

Now i stand at 118.8kg ...... 0.2kg extra.... -_-".... so instant! 1 week's effort gone down the drain by juz one soft serve cone.....and one char kway teow....and one pearl milk tea....



Going home was a horrible one... cos peak hour.... and 966 being the only bus service tat links bukit panjang to the east ... the bus was crowded.... -_-" .... crowded till the extent it couldnt pick up anymore people for about 5 bus stops back to bukit panjang.... took 1 hr 05 mins home! 30 mins extra!!! cos of a jam as well... traffic jam!

Old Airport Road

Went out with Weida on Friday nite! Suddenly have the craving the eat @ Old Airport Road Hawker Centre... =) .... Went to eat Oyster Omelette and Wanton mee there..not bad quite nice =)... chat on the way...


After the meal wanted to go Kallang Leisure Park to see got any movie to watch... eh ... 12 plus am.... =X .... so we decided to go amk hub to watch movie... =) 11:40pm movie...bought tickets jus nice can go watch liao.... Cos its the 1st few days of the month.... uob promotion... managed to get a free popcorn for 2 movie tickets!


Watched Eagle Eye.... nice movie....action packed.... wah... but some scenes really too action packed liao...eyes dunno wan see wich side.... lol... nice movie overall... its a derailed computer network tat activates terrorism and getting civilians involved to become a part time terrorist and eliminate them after using them .... scary...freaky... it tells how much people are reliant to computer these days... =X

Its almost one week since the start of study break... but i havent touched my books yet... haiz... wad a waste...cant seem motivated enuff to start yet... zzz... wich is bad.... anyways, managed to start packing my notes to different subjects today... finally.... =X .... i should start next week le.... =).... 3.5 weeks to exam! 29 october is first paper... till 10 november... 24 days to exam..

Feel like gg to east coast park to cycle tml... =).... should I? or should I not? I juz cant help thinking abt the hot weather these few days... dun even feel like stepping out of house lah!

My melamine addiction

Recently there's this milk scare.... everyone's so afraid of drinking milk lah... i am addicted to milk btw.... tink of ice cream.... chocolates.... pizza... all milk!!!! -_-" .... Everyone's shunning milk from China... but think again.... what about milk products made in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand? They might have come from China again! -_-" .... My dutch lady banana milk is gone... wth..... Even Magnum for Europe wasnt spared from China Milk..... Worst was most of these products are pending AVA testing.... and you can easily purchase it from the shelves!

Deciding not to take the risk... i went to buy milk tat day.. hoping to find milk products from australia and new zealand....cos highly unlikely they will import milk from china where there are so many cows and goats there! Drank it and the milk doesnt taste tat nice.... makes me wonder if i am addicted to melamine more than milk! LOL....


Anyways, went to eat fishball noodles @ clementi after our last lesson ytd with weiqi, shiting and chinleng.... last lesson ended like 11 plus... so ended up being on the roads the whole day till after 6pm.... met shaun at dine @ han's @ far east plaza.... beef hor fun... not bad.... nice sauce...nice beef....nice food!


Went to watch Big Stan with shaun after tat..preview movie... =) Won 2 tickets from the New Paper SMS contest! The movie was nice.... quite funny and we laughed all the way.... its abt this guy who is convicted of fraud.... and he knew tat prisons in US .... there are a lot of prisoners who become gay inside and have the tendency to rape..... -_-" ... and then this guy went to train up thru a master..... so tat he can fight off potential rapes....

the bad thing about this is the seating arrangement..free seating...and den u have stupid people leaving a gap in btw.... (2 tickets per person so of cos 2 seats for everyone) and sitting at the sides..... end up we reached theatre at 7:14pm (movie starts at 7:15pm)... and we ended up seating on two different sides.... there is stupid guy who scolded us for walking in to get to the centre... retarded guy.... u should have sat at the centre rite.... instead of complaining people who have to pass thru u to get to the centre... =X worst was the theatre has no gap in the centre.. so once u are on the left... u have to get to the right cutting thru the whole lane... =X ....

Horrible Dream last night!

Had a horrible dream last night.
Dreamt that I couldnt get into the Prices & Market Test exam hall
Weird Dream....

I dreamt that somehow or rather... i end up in Bird Park with my parents at 1030 am.... test is 11am... den take panorail ride somemore.... den dunno how i end up in a shopping centre... den saw bus 171...2 of them.. but didnt take.... it was 1050 am le...

wanted to cab so i can reach there fast.... den saw 2 black cabs on the far end of the road.... took one of it and saw jack neo's "ah-nan".... omg...doing illegal dealing..... -_-" .... den i ask him "this cab can take?".... den "ah-nan" say.... "u say leh"....

den i waited and waited at the taxi stand... wan to cry liao.... 1120 am le.. test start liao..... 1150 am den i managed to be on the cab... and i say oh no... 10 mins to the end of exams...hey not.... test is 2 hrs.... so end at 1pm... reached sch at 1220pm...

omg... den i woke up liao... 1050am in the morning!

Anybody here who can read dreams? Maybe can interpret and let me know.... LOL... But wakeup call for me not to be late for my test huh?

Wanted to eat Swensen's (cos got voucher) but... -_-" .... the restaurant looks like a food court.... one whole straight row of seats with so many people.... its full at 4:55pm... lost appetite... the one at Bukit Panjang Plaza is the best after all... nobody + nice view of BP LRT....+ not many people....

Ended up eating LJS.... i recently have this craving for LJS.... juz feel like eating it everyday! LOL....

Watched Mama Mia! Nice musical =) Enjoyed it.... Nice soothing songs to go through... loved such musicals cos its soothing to the ears! LOL....




We wanted to avoid the weekend crowd home... so we took 156 to bukit timah.... passed by serene centre.... remembered my army days.... tim introduced me to this nice ice cream shop.... island creamery @ serene centre...


large crowd there.. lol... we ended up sitting outside... ordered this nutty cookie ice cream cake... nice lo... $4.80... looks marvellous, isnt it? Nice.... not too sweet, juz nice!

And oso ordered pulut hitam ice cream and banana flavoured... it's more like singapore-flavoured ice cream....simply delicious.... 1 flavor of ice cream costs $2.... but simply a must try when u are there! LOL.....

Den we took 170 to Ten Mile Junction.... wanted to take LRT home...how to know we miss the last train.... we reached there at 11:17pm.... when the last train leaves at 11:10pm...haiz....walked back to bt panjang to take 190 home...

Went to IMM today to eat Fish & Co... ordered their new york fish & chips... same taste... nice =)

Day @ Kallang Leisure Park

Went to Kallang Leisure Park on Wednesday! No school mah... Nothing better to do.. so go there watch movie...haha...try their new cinema.... Took 700 from home... den transfer 16 @ Plaza Singapura.


Watched "Mirrors".... not bad lah..the overall plot.... its abt mirrors (devils) that can travel through mirrors and kill people..... -_-" .... freaky...lol...

Eh....overall the movie quite empty...seats wise.... still prefer cathay..... lol... the whole shopping centre still quite empty...probably people dun even know abt its existence... there is even an ice skating ground there....a kbox.... and a bowling alley.... so many recreational venues.... yet nobody....lol..... can go bowling some day.... lol....

Took 16 to old airport road hawker centre to eat dinner after tat.. i muz be crazy.... i ate char kway teow and oyster omelette.... end up vomit a bit.... cos too much food liao.... zzz.... both food were nice.... took 168 home after tat @ bedok after bus 30....


I loved to take 168... go thru TPE and SLE with no stopping.... lol...especially the double deck bus.... B10TL Super Olympian.... liked this bus's seats! lol... slants down.....very gd for sleeping... i got sleeping problems..... tats y i like to go bus to sleep..... =) ..... i can sleep there i wonder why....


Went out with Shaun, Kenneth, Junda and Weizhong yesterday for gathering.... Months since I last saw them liao.... lol.... went to Shokudo Pasta for dinner.... ordered curry katsu pasta..... it sucks! LOL.. i wonder why.... kenneth seems like to like shokudo's pasta.... after the 2nd visit... i tink i wun wan to visit there....unless i dio pulled...lol.... they have too much onions and garlics in their pasta...and oso beri oily.... i am not a onion nor garlic lover...so it definitely sucks lah! LOL..... the curry wasnt nice too...haiz....


F1 coming to singapore this weekend.... the whole marina looks like a berlin wall covering...fences all over for the track.... -_-" .... sian...this weekend wan go marina.... like no mood sia.... lol...muz find elsewhere go....

went bowling after tat at marina with them... lol... didnt score well as usual.... haha... 50+ pts for both games.... but i got 2 strike and 1 spare... means i got 0 pointers for few games....lol.... the animation in the bowling alley hasnt got much variety...old machine... i tink the one at chevron's is better....

Over these few days

These few days have been busy going for "gatherings" in SIM.... Yes.... gatherings = projects .... new term for project meetup is now gathering... cos our project seems never ending de... lol.... 9pm den can release.... omg...

Went out with zen and tsian on thursday for kbox...utilize my $20 kbox voucher wich they refuse to accept the two other time! So irritated lah... wrote to their HQ through email to shoot... den they reply say make arrangments so that the voucher can be used.. zzz.... i prefer to change for swensen's or jack's place voucher next time liao... SAFER!!! Sure get! Zzz....

Anyway, had a nice time singing lah..... so long never sing le..and oso we 3 so long never meet liao.... cos its a thursday night.... TAPAS Menu.... =) Can choose btw fruits / tidbits + fried japanese food (squid, ebi...etc...) $17.50 nett per pax... 7pm to 10pm.... $52.50 - $20 = $32.50 which is equivalent to $11 per person for tat day.... =)

Eh wait... dun tink got the kbox promotion liao..... seems like now poly school holiday... so no promotion.... =X .. heng last week we went.... siam the expensive singing session.... lol.... Oh yah..zen and i ate LJS for dinner tat day....so long never eat LJS liao...really liked their chicken a lot....addiction =D


Went out with Weida on Saturday to watch disaster movie... movie not bad...quite funny.. though sometimes lame... but better den scary movie i can say.... the story flows better this time... and quite nice overall.. worth catching it.....humourous =) ... though not one the better comedies for this year..... went to eat at kim san leng coffee shop at bangkit after tat... bak chor mee, fried oyster omelette and fishball soup....






Sunday went out with family to eat Bali Thai..... =) West mall outlet sucks... the food isnt tat nice compared to the IMM trip we made the other time.... =X... the BBQ platter was nice... .... the chicken.... =) paper wrapped chicken not nice.... pineapple rice not nice..... =X ..... most of the other food were average...nt worth $185 for 5 person -_-" ..... tom yum soup, thai desserts and all.... faints -_-" ....


These few days have been gg back to Ngee Ann Poly canteen 1 for Kaki Fuyong (Scrambled Fried Egg with Chicken Rice)... Nice.... for a $3....with a very nice sauce =) definitely worth the price =) .... funny hor... in np.... "eh today go sim leh"... now in sim.... "eh today go ngee ann leh" ....

I am very tired these few days.... probably cos i am getting fatter... i wonder why.... i tink my metabolism rate has gone down significantly after NS.... -_-" ... tats the reason.... in fact i have been eating so much less chocolate.... and ice cream.... i practically skip them for 1 week and i am getting fatter.. i wonder why! i oso dun bite chocolates these days....and i am getting fatter.... -_-" ... how i miss chocolates and ice cream.... but with the recent milk scare....

Firstly, its outside the washroom, and its boy's washroom, all the clowns would wash their dirty hands and spit there, I have witnessed that a lot of times.

Me: Ms Lee, i very thirsty, can gimme permisson go canteen buy plain water?
Ms Lee: No, i thought i just saw you going to the canteen? Go to the water cooler/fountain.
Me: water cooler people wash hand and spit there you want me to drink there? just now i go canteen uncle don't let me buy , he say need permission pass.

ok, that was seriously screwed up, why the heck can't i buy a drink? Its just plain water, and i need a horrible permission pass, Even if i spill in the classroom it'll only clean it right? It has a PH level of 7.0 and its neither acidic or alkalic.

Secondly, why won't i drink from the water fountain is simply because, Theres low maintenance to it, the water taste weird as consumers say.

And like i said people do wash their hands after heading to the washroom there.

Ok, so i approached the VP, The Vice-principle, who was teaching math too. Denied my request.

Me: Mr Singh, can gimme permission go buy plain water from the canteen.
VP: Ask Ms Lee your teacher.
(For a moment, didn't he stood somewhere beside me when i was having that conversation with Ms Lee?)
Me: Just asked already, she say drink from water cooler, its damn dirty, i refuse to drink from there, i just want to buy plain water.
VP: Only 1 period left to recess time, sit down and study, 50mins and you'll get to buy drink.

It was a hot morning with no rain, and i didn't had any drink the whole morning, due to rushing.

Water not allowed even when i rushed down to buy when the teacher themselves are late, my intention was to only buy plain water, so why can't i buy, i needed a drink, i was dehydrating, moreover i'm overweight.

i have a mass of 125kg, traveling up 36flights of stairs of around 4meters is even more tiring for me.

I just want clean, drinkable water, not dirty water fountains/cooler water!

and i'm honest, i'm not joking, look at my survey answer from the school's lab.

The school couldn't even allow basic human needs, such as water. and with dehydration, it might lead to heat stroke which is a critical medical condition especially to big boned people like me.

It will just be a 4mins walk over and back, But oh well, no means no.

I want an answer.
