End of May

Wow... so fast! Its the last day of May today! WHAT THE!!!!

So fast????

Time seems to pass so fast since my holidays started...
School time things seem to move extremely slow, but when you start your holidays, you start to realise how fast time is moving.


I cant believe I have already worked in Cold Storage again for 3 weeks liao. WaH!
But den work is work. I will only get my pay end of next month! Zzz.... My goodness. Zzz... omg.... so i am now an extremely poor student. =X

I cant believe its halfway through my holidays. Oh no.. and soon i will be back in school....

May ended. Birthday celebrations ended. The only time in the year to "qiao" ur friends for treats and presents. Oh no! LOL... Next month have to spend money again liao! OMG!



May was fantastic. Managed to save up quite a bit. Spent only $250 for the entire month! =) $65 per week. Less than $10 a day! =)

And guess what! On Thursday, the results for last sem will be out! I seriously hope I can see 4 CR(Credits). I hate to see PAP (Pass). But to be realistic, I dun wan any NN (Not Attainable), which means Fail.

Choa Chu Kang Outing...

Went out with Zhenhui yesterday!

Went swimming @ Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex with him. My 2nd time for this year! LOL... last time was.. oso with him... OMG! LOL....

Just swam a mere 15 minutes and lightning started.. ended up we went to the spa pool there to chit chat! LOL...

Seems god doesnt want me to swim anyway...

LOL... and anyway, tat crap about them having renovations for 2 months... nothing seems to be renovated! Zzz...



Went to eat lunch @ Lot 1 food court.... damn it.... its a scam. $5.50 for yong tau foo.... 9 items only! Zzz.... The food was ok though.... not bad...


urmz... but $5.50 is a bit too pricey. $3.85 for 7 items, $0.55 for noodles, plus 2 add on items @ $0.55 each. =X





Went to watch Night At The Museum 2 after tat with Zen, overall movie was quite funny... laughed throughout... but den its kinda short.. and if you compare to the first episode... the 1st seems nicer and more original.... =) But it still can be watched.... 7 out of 10 popcorns.... bah....

Recently have been working night shift.... and pretty slack.. its 5 day work week.... kinda boring at home... lazying at home almost all the afternoons.. and recovering from my illness.... damn it.. it juz isnt going away as fast as i wanted.... but overall i can say i am 80% recovered le....

Next week's dooms week with exam result release coming... =X

Recent + Birthday Affair

Sian.... i am sick again.. had fever yesterday... today still having my sore throat and cold...zzz....

did quite a lot of mistakes at work today... 6 hours.. but cashier report is like one week's mistakes. $10 void = 1 statement... had 5 statements today... sometimes 0 for 8 hour shift....

Almost crashed my dad's car after work... drove out from king albert park.. den my dad do stun.... ask me turn left out change 4th lane to go 1st lane... had to cut about 4 lanes... den i say dun wan..

i wan turn left den use another road go toa payoh den he say ok...

den i 4got i am on the 1st lane on the small road... and my car sort of turn its way to the 2nd lane.... -_-"...

nearly crash on to the car on my right... dad yell... den i step brake... lucky the car tat should have got into accident went off just in time before i hit it... -_-"... sian... my 1st time into near big accident...zzz....




Anyway, went out with Weida and Pengyong ytd... we went to marina square to celebrate my birthday! initially wanted to eat at dome cafe... but... den i see online menu.. like nothing much to eat for dinner...



saw azuku sabo.... wanted to eat... but den the service manager put us off... we waited like 3 mins and nobody bothered to attend to us.. only to have the manager saying "U WAIT"... as if we owe him money.... zzz... den we walked off.....



seriously singapore customer service sucks to the core.... imagine a manager doing this to the customer... if service staff still understandable... but a manager.... chasing away customer is absolutely ridiculous....



Anyway, we landed at Hotpot Culture.... First visit there... used to see crowds gg in.. today it wasnt too crowded.. but the moment we sat down... we were quite disappointed..... hotpot buffet of $24.80++ excludes drinks! What the....

Service staff were generally friendly... but the food quality was medicore... cannot make it.... u cant even compared to those in bugis where u pay $20.. get good food and nice drinks... and nice soup base..



the soup doesnt attract me at all... quite salty for the kimchi and hot&spicy broth..... the food variety quite disappointing... not much to choose from.. except they have a marshmallow and fruits chocolate fondue... urmz.... the fried food oso not too appetizing...



weida gave it 6/10... i give it 4/10. FAIL...quite disappointing... $33 per person could have brought us somewhere nicer... haix...felt cheated... though i didnt pay....



Anyway, it was a short outing.... but we had a nice time chatting on 502 on our way home.... weida gotta rush to jurong point to meet his sis for late nite movie... its been a long time since we last met =)... glad we could still meet up for a nice weekend outing!



Went out with JWJW on Wednesday... was my off day and wanted to meet them at night.... for my birthday celebrations..... Urmz... they brought me to an italian restaurant at Shaw Towers, near Suntec... $15.80 set meal... above average standard. one soup + one main course pasta + drink + brownie / apple pie.....



They oso gave me a surprise by buying me a cake.. a vanilla cake from four leaves... looks scary to me.... omg... i never had a vanilla cake for birthday before.... as in pure vanilla...








Havent met them for ages too..... they bought me a pair of Calvin Klein underwear.. weird present... guys dont even give this to me... but instead girls + one guy bought me this! quite surprise with the present...

they oso bought me a book on fine dining in singapore and other asian countries... but its simply to upmarket...



i havent reach this stage... the book mainly introduce u restaurants tat cost $100-$200 a person for dining... -_-".... nvm juz look... cant afford it bah....haha...



Anyway, we posed ourselves as usual... their hobbies to take pictures! Haha..

Brazilian Affair

Went out with Zhenhui and Tsianhwee on Sunday! My first off day since I started work! LOL... And its my actual birthday! First time celebrate my birthday on my birthday! LOL...

Anyway, I wanted to try a Brazilian buffet.... havent tried before in my life... and they both fulfilled my wish! Thanks zen and tsian! =)


We met at Novena... went to this restaurant called Fiesta Brasilia at United Square, opposite Novena Square. =) Quite a dark restaurant... and we were greeted by their staff and then sat down..





Cold salad bar.... they have... with some authentic weird dishes there... and took some rice...



Got a soup... quite mild chicken soup bah... den they started serving us meat by walking towards us to ask whether we want... den they cut one slice for us... the lamb wasnt fantastic... had "yang shou wei" ...





the ham was good... and the chicken was crispy....... the rest were quite perfect... except for the lamb... yes i know.. junyang shouldnt take yang rou.... LOL... Maybe tats why... LOL....



Anyway, was so full... LOL.... The staff were extremely friendly.. and when they knew it was my birthday... gathered around to sing birthday song.... in Brazilian language and English... urmz... quite paiseh actually...

but next to my table there was also a young boy who is oso having his birthday celebrations.. tong ri sheng de.. and few tables away oso got an ang moh uncle..oso same day birthday! Wah... 17 may so many people birthday de... LOL...



We oso drank quite a bit.. really paiseh... seems like they overspent for my birthday... they ordered a tiger beer each while i ordered a glass of barcardia (should be this brand) coffee wine =) they managed to psycho us to order 2 sets of coffee tequila set too.. to go with the free ice cream.....



Anyway, the ambience inside was great. You feel like you are on a holiday in Brazil. Pretty relaxed environment. And most of the staff I supposed... are from Brazil too. =)


Anyway, zen and tsian oso bought me a chocolate birthday cake from bakerzin... but we didnt manage to eat it because we were too full after the buffet... took the cake home... tried it...and its delicious..i like it... thanks tsian and zen! =) although i am not much a chocolate cake liker...haha... my family oso said its nicer than the one we bought from bengawan solo... lol....

Oh ya... really paiseh... i didnt take the cake properly... the sides got smashed up a little =X



They oso bought me a parker pen as birthday pressie. =)


Thanks to them... They planned quite well and I really enjoyed my day! =)












Went out with Shaun today... Bukit Panjang Plaza... this friday $5 million TOTO.... Of course go buy lah... And oso with my toto buddy....haha...




den went to Streets Cafe for lunch. Shaun treat de... haha.... thanks shaun....



We ordered the set lunch... macau chicken baked rice... quite nice... =) ... and oso an aloe vera sweet drink with mango ice cream.... and we ordered a guotie to share.. Bill was like $24 for 2 persons... quite worth it. =)



Going to meet JWJW later for my birthday celebrations.... Saturday meeting Peng and Da. =)

My 23rd Birthday!

Wah.. Its my birthday today! Long awaited. Once a year affair. Haha.. These few years have been celebrating it in chalets.... Spending too much of money liao.. Finally I am getting retail theraphy this year.... haha....


Anyway, later going out with Zhenhui and Tsianhwee they all.... wonder what they will treat me to! LOL.... Meeting them @ Novena.... Anyway, cut my cake yesterday! LOL... As usual, I dun cut cake on my birthday. I wonder why! Haha... As you know I am now working at cold storage king albert park... yesterday after work, collected my cake from bengawan solo....


Mickey Mouse Cake.. childish yeah..haha...but i like it... mango vanilla sponge cake inside... urmz... standard bengawan solo taste lor... anyway, quite sad... my bro tot i 24... my mum oso dunno my age... so they put 2 big 4 small candles.. -_-"... i didnt even realise until after i cut the cake.... Zzz.... no wonder i had difficulty blowing the last candle... cant blow off... dunno why... maybe god wants me to know i am not that old. Haha...


Went to eat at Fortunate Restaurant @ Toa Payoh.... in the morning with my family and mahmah gonggong... to celebrate my birthday cum belated mother's day.... Had dim sum there.... ok only.... above average.. not much variety... a bit sian... i tink the miramar hotel buffet dim sum is better.... but bill was quite cheap... $142 for 7 people.




Anyway, they have the traditional dim sum restaurant concept... pull trolleys around the restaurant with dim sums and ask u whether u wan anot... if you wan it, just stop them. Haha....


The char siew pau not bad... urmz.... the beancurd roll nice... duck meat nothing much.... and the rest of the dim sums.... zi pao ji... coffee spare ribs....



Quite full.... wonder why... we didnt eat much and mahmah ask why we eat so little today... probably the food is rich in carbo bah...
If you are free and want to have hi-tea.. can consider visiting them at 3pm - 530pm.. one plate of dim sum @ $1.99++ nia.


Anyway, havent gone to restaurant to eat for a while... LOL... back again... and on a restaurant week spree with more to come today and next week! =) Meeting Weida and Pengyong they all next saturday... JWJW wonder when? Haha....
