Dad's birthday last week... went to Swensen's to celebrate his birthday.... The new menu quite nice...can go and eat.... the creamy cheese US Chicken was nice! The strawberry brownie ice cream was kinda sweet though... den bought a cake home to celebrate.....
Weida's birthday on Wednesday! Went out with him and py in the evening....dateline for my hmt project assignment the next day but i still went out... see i am such a good friend yea? LOL.... den went home still have to rush thru the assignment...thankfully the assignment submitted..... -_-" ...
We wanted to go Kushin-bo but it was full...so we decided to head for the restaurant 2 shops away.... korean... Shillawon Korean Restaurant.... some of the food was nice.... except for the disappointing small variety.... and the cold fried food near the front desk....if not, it'll have been perfect!.... The meat was tender... and the pancake was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Customer service not bad.... =)
Went to watch "Meet Dave" after tat... the movie damn funny.... muz go watch leh...if havent...cos its all laughter throughout! =) Went home after tat.....
These few days have been going out pretty often with Roger, Weiqi and his friend after school for lunch...surprisingly jurong has so much of good food! LOL.... i still like the chicken rice hawker centre at 350+ best.... =)
Friday i seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.... found myself lying weirdly for so long on the bed...and decided to wake up to see the alarm clock.. SHIT! Its 1005am...and my lecture starts at 930.... i am LATE! Took a cab to SIM and managed to reach there at 1025am.... Pro aint I?
After lecture went out with uni friends to Kbox after our lunch at Liu San Ge @ Bt Timah Plaza.... the food wasnt tat nice...except for the cheesecake....but the customer service was excellent.... It freaks you out sometimes.. the moment u step in.... they take ur bag.... to put in a corner so you have more space.... den they ask u for ur order...and echo wadever u order...and the other staff will reply ok.... den when u finish ur food..they pass u tissue paper.... unique anot.... LOL....
Kbox experience was horrible.... I had a $20 voucher ... whereby the terms and conditions state that the voucher can be used at all times at all Kbox outlets....
Yesterday, again, I was rejected by staff at Suntec City Outlet. Reason being they are having a promotion off cover charge and so this voucher is not valid. This is also not stated in your "terms and conditions". Worst was that we were in the midst of the KTV session. The staff had previously accepted the voucher and then came to the room to say that the promotional price does not allow the use of the voucher.
I wonder what "all times" means for Kbox.... I swear I would never change for a Kbox voucher ever again...previously i exchanged for Jacks Place voucher...swensens voucher and didnt face any problems with the amount i should pay..... promotions are all included even if you use the voucher....
And to all blog readers here... DO NOT buy Kbox vouchers.... they are not usable.... unless they give it to you....
Had a nice time singing.. but the customer service seriously sucks.... -_-" ... they 4got to bill us.... and i didnt even wan to pay actually..... so sucky.... cheat me of $20... y should i pay!
Went to Marina Square...was toking halfway on the phone with zen when the battery went flat! What a day! Had to borrow mabia's phone to call!.....
Had dinner @ Carl's Junior..... Liked their Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger... 10% off for SAFRA.... =).... nice and appetizing.....
Worst part has yet to come..... fireworks festival @ Marina..... and den it juz ended as i am abt to walk towards the bus stop.... the human crowd coming out from the makeshift stadium was scary.... REN SHAN REN HAI.... had a drink on hand...and couldnt walk to the bin...finished the drink and the bus came...no choice but to throw it into my bag.... had to squeeze my way out to take the bus.... den the moment i tapped my ezlink....saw KOH SENG KEE.... OMG.... with another former sec sch girl.... and den waved to them... "hi".... -_-" .... oh no.... he hesitated and den said hi.... haiz....
And also one bad news.... the phone call with zen was to say that we have to postpone our proposed HK trip to next year... Not again!
I tink I should start work soon.... work PT...when holidays come.... my retirement fund (frm Cold Storage and SAF) is going down the drain at the way i am spending money... i estimate an excess balance of only $400 now.... apart from the desired amount... i dun wish to touch the desired amount for outings.... except the trip...
Life's gonna be sad ahead... NO MONEY.... NO OUTING.... NO WEEKENDS.... =X
