Perth isn't that fun as the other parts of Australia as I can say.
Perhaps we went there at the wrong timing!
Summer is approaching and flies are coming your way! Doesnt happen in other parts of Australia.... wonder why almost every part of Western Australia is infected with flies...flies flying all over your face!.... About 5 flies flying around you all the time.... Irritating you all the time... Reminds you of Africa right?
And they have this Melbourne Cup going on and Air Race going on in Perth... So basically we had a hard time finding motels in Perth.... and when you find it.... it averages around AUD $170 (SIN $238) for a room for 4 ....
The Australian dollar is going far too strong.... And you realise you have nothing to buy back home! AUD $100 = SIN $140.... tink the previous time we went was like $1=$1 to $1 = $1.25
So you imagine how expensive everything were to cost.
Even local commodities that they produce cost more when you buy it there, compared to when you buy them from Singapore.
Example:
Cadbury Chocolate AUD $3.99 (SIN $5.60)
Singapore only sells it at SIN $4.50.
The only things that was still cheap was Milk and Cheese. But you cant buy it back right?
But guess South Australia is the one producing chocolates and candies.. so it definitely is cheaper there....
Didnt go to the zoo or wildlife park to see kangaroos and koala bears as we have seen it in our past visits.. But we did see a kangaroo jumping onto the road on our way...
Toilets were clean though...even in rural areas.... =D
One thing that Perth offers. Asian food.... you can find them almost every where, even in rural areas, compared to the other places.
Prawns cost as much as chicken costs and the prawns taste soft and crunchy... as a prawn disliker, I ate prawns there! Lol.... no stingy seafood smell!

Perth (King's Park)
Nice park to visit! Lol....you can see the whole of Perth City from there...well..at least most part of it! Beautiful flowers blooming as it is Spring! So..yup....
Jurien Bay / Pinnacles
Nicest beach I ever seen in my life...if not for the flies....and the pinnacles rock! Nice..... nice rocks all over....its all about nature!
Fremantle Market / Prison
Yes, my family visited the Prison... Quite a nice tour tough..understand how their prison evolved from 1950s to modern day.... and also their facilities!
Albany (The Gap)
Its a nice sea view with a sense of nature! The Gap is worth going.
Augusta Lighthouse
You can see the Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean! The border of both seas! Nice view..saw from far a whale flipping up there..too bad its too small for photos!
Busselton Bay (Natural Underwater World)
Walk 4km return trip... not worth going.... the underwater world.... cos its natural...but you can only see a few species of corals and a school of fish....
Augusta (Jewel Cave)
Think I enjoyed this 1 hr trip down beneath..the view was great! Limestone forming over few hundred years! Nice and cooling place to visit!
Wave Rock
Not worth going, all you see is this rock. Looks nice but you have to travel very long distance juz to see this!
