Switzerland (Zermatt)

Loved this place, Tasch, the most. The moment we reached there. It started snowing!

Its my first time I see snow dropping down from the sky! Mind me for being so "sum-pat"



There's always snow all over. But not snowing! Finally its snowing for me to see! LOL.... My 1st photo when it is snowing!



Anyways, Tasch, was a lovely place to begin with. Nice trains to bring you up to the hilltop (Zermatt). Scenic ride up to Zermatt! When you reach Zermatt, its an almost no-car city with lots of small battery operated taxis.



So cute! LOL... There's also a nice canal with snow all over and lots and lots of snow, some covering housetops. =) Most nice place of this trip.



But ended up it snowed too heavily and we were stucked in the mountain for an hour cos we couldnt come down! LOL....



But lovely place, i dun mind getting stranded in such a lovely place......


Full of tourist shops, couple of supermarkets.... Juz nice... we visited lots of shops... juz on time for the delayed train ride....

Switzerland (Berne, Lausanne)

Berne, the capital of Switzerland. Visited the city and took some nice night shots.
Went to the rose garden but the roses have withered. Also saw the famous Berne Bear.


Nice city view with beautiful trams. Even sacrifice to stand in the middle of the road. LOL... Some of the other travellers got too excited and they jaywalked passed a junction and almost got killed by an incoming tram =X.









































































































Spent the night at Lausanne. Had the longest meal I ever eaten. =X The dinner sucks.


Cos its fish for main course and I dont eat it! The salad and all also not nice. Haiz... Zzz... They have a bread, salad, main course and dessert. & they took about 3 hours to serve us. Typical western meal.




They have to serve you one by one and they only have 2 staff but 40 patrons. So they took ages to finish serving each and everyone. =X





& then after you finish they start clearing one by one your plates before they start a new course and worst of all, say "sil vous plait" meaning "please" before taking away and putting your food on your table. So its like OMG!


Europe's wages are too high I guess. So they only hire a few staff.



The staff in Switzerland seemed always busy like hell. Usually its 2-3 staff for one restaurant having about 80 patrons and you see them work like mad!




Hardworking though their staff in Switzerland.





Also visited one of their castles. Chillion Castle on our way towards Geneva.
Had lunch @ Movenpick. Food was nice =)
