Wendy's Birthday!

Last sunday celebrated Wendy's belated birthday! We went to Plaza Singapura to watch "Coming Soon".... Its a thai horror movie.. the director was from 4Bia and Shutter... Not as scary as the one from 4Bia.... But kinda funny the ghost story! LOL...

The start of the movie... they keep u in suspense.... making u think theres a ghost but actually theres nothing... den theres one part... u dun expect the ghost to be there... but its actually there... Overall not bad la... but i dun tink its nicer than 4Bia.... i give it 3.5 / 5. =)








Went to eat Fish N Chips @ Manhattan Fish Market.... And guess wad ... 100% of us ordered the Fish N Chips... LOL... Beware of the photos below... You may not want to look at it if you are eating right now.... Cos... we make the fish n chips taste so disgusting....

LOL.... Anyway, the fish n chips was nice... but i would recommend it as a 3 month one visit kind of patronage....






We also bought Wendy pressies...





Anyway, last but not least was Jesmen's birthday kiss for the 2 birthday girls.... LOL....











Wednesday went to watch Kungfu chef... quite funny.... worth 3.5/5 popcorns.... storyplot wise not bad la.... worth it when you are bored....


Had a $10 shokudo voucher.. so went in to eat.. ordered a green tea ice cream chocolate banana crepe... nice.. i love the crisp... and oso ordered the curry katsu baked rice... nice oso.... i dunno why... i just feel its too overpriced.... after $10 off sounds more reasonable the price to me....


Thursday went with Roger and his happy friend to eat Ajisen at Jurong Point... Ordered this nice looking pork pancake??? 4get its name... lol... and of cos their ramen...





Friday went with Tsian Hwee to Jurong Point again.. WHAT THE.... Anyway, its Thai Express again... I think I am mad... i have been going there every week now....


Ordered a Tom Yam Vegetable Hor Fun shared by two of us.... doesnt look like Tom Yam to me.. and I even asked the waitress if she served wrongly.... but she say it is... tasted and realised its actually Tom Yam.... and a Beef Kway Teow which I liked it.... and the Chendol.... overall not bad...

look forward to visiting them soon... but probably at least a month from now on....







Went to watch Mall Cop with him after tat.... I seriously give this movie 4.5/5... Its so funny... Its kinda creative.... how the fat cop... did strange things.... and be so "garang" (enthusiatic in his job).... and managed to take down a whole group of armed robbers..... when he's just a security guard without any guns.... If you intend to watch a movie... seriously go for it.. its 90 mins of laughter non-stop....









Saturday went with Shaun and Kenneth they all to East Coast Park to cycle.... Ate at Bedok Hawker Centre... There's this stall selling curry chicken noodle... and its so nice.... they have a gallery of photos of celebrities visiting them... the chicken they have in the bowl is shredded chicken.... unlike most curry chicken noodles where u have all the bones which makes it hard to eat.... curry was also nice in smell... overall i would visit them soon if i happen to eat there....


Cycle liked 2 hours... Just nice.. it started drizziling at about 1 hr 30 mins .... den we gave up our bike.... and settled down at Burger King. Went there for drinks.... walked around parkway parade and settled down at Marine Parade hawker centre for char kway teow... the stall i liked.... anyway, kenneth commented its normal... i dunno... i just liked it... but only 1 plate... more than 1.... not nice liao... cos oily food quite sickening when you eat too much... one plate just nice...

Car Crash

Oh no... I havent even snap a photo of my dad's new car. And now somebody crash my dad's car liao...

Barely 2 months, this car that hasn't won 4D before, yesterday got first prize (zhong tou jiang) on the front and the side....

-_-" ... OMG! Lucky I am not the driver. And I wasnt on the car.... Was out with JWJW yesterday....

But the poor car... Haix... My parents got a shock... So did the driver of the van... who skidded... and drove the opposite direction of the expressway crashing into our car's front... causing it a 360 turn and den crashing into the centre ! -_-" ....

The accident later caused two cars to collide from behind... as they jammed brakes... causing another accident... -_-" ....


My dad says there is something wrong with Mercs.... the last time he had an accident was also a Mercs crashing onto his car. -_-" ...

And so I bought 4D today... 1655 and 5467, hoping I can win on Wednesday... Weird things happen... I circled 1655 and 5467 BIG but BIG and SMALL came out for 1655 on my ticket for 1655... Paid $1 more. Guess somebody there helping me to win? LOL...

Oh ya.. yesterday while going home... the bus I took nearly crash onto a SMART cab that went the wrong way also. The bus jerked on time but thankfully I was sitting down. And close to 10 commuters from the front standing fell down on the floor... Kinda freaky... From my viewpoint, it looks like a domino effect. -_-" Cos the bus went 30 degrees up... throwing those standing towards the front of the bus...

LOL... Went out with Shaun this week! LOL...
Monday as you know i went to eat steak with him @ Jack's Place!

Tuesday we went Jurong Point for lunch at Thai Express... used my voucher.. not bad.... just that my noodles too hot liao... keep sweating.... taste was good... but too hot.... -_-" ... chendol as usual nice...

Went to watch "Suspect X" after tat.... movie not much content... involves some thinking... but overall i find the movie a bit draggy....


Went out on Thursday with Shaun again... met him for lunch at food court... bp there... =) Ate curry noodles =)


Went out with Weida yesterday to eat Chicken Rice.. haha.... at Al'meen there... or Cheong Chin Nam Road... Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice... nice chicken... nice rice... nice hotplate beancurd... quite good but not fantastic.... but overall i still prefer the one at Far East plaza... still rated my most favourite... lol....

Oh ya.. i parked at the big car park next to al'meen.... and not the parallel parking.... cos i sux at it... lol... and i dun wan people horn at me... anyway... exited the car park after the meal.. and i strike kerb sia... the whole wheel went up den down... thank god my car is okay! LOL.. 1st time for this new car! LOL....

Today went out to take photo of bus 242. Wow... this service is getting a re-route... 242 breaking up to 241 and 242....


241 passes by Jurong West Swimming Complex and Pioneer MRT... 242 usual route with cuts from Jurong West Street 91.. went to take some pics for fun! Since its the last day on tat road.... LOL... Too bored oso! Haha...


Den went Causeway Point to buy things... cold storage and burger king for dinner... =) Tml wendy's birthday celebration! Wonder where we shall go...

Restaurants!

LOL... I am finally back to restaurant dining these few days... LOL... But its all free! LOL.. Went out with family to eat Swensen's at West Mall on Saturday!


As usual, ordered my favourite Chicken Baked Rice... i dunno why.. if you ask me to eat that for the rest of my life... i dun mind! LOL... And this time i ordered Frosted Chocolate Malt... also one of my favourite ice cream at Swensen's...

Seriously speaking... Swensen's food menu.. i dun really like.... steak not tat gd compared to other places... portion too litte for burgers.... except for the ice cream and chicken baked rice.. so i go in for lunch and dinner.. confirm is order this... unless they got special menu... LOL...



Went to Pasir Ris Downtown East for dinner @ Lemon Grass Restaurant.. LOL... Service i can rate it as "EXTREMELY GOOD" ... my family order Medium for tom-yum soup and a dish... and the waitress told us... no need so big... is like... wah... so ethical.. first good impression liao....


Kway teow not bad... food wise i find some of it quite bland.... overall juz passable for food quality.... the leaf wrapped chicken didnt taste tat good.. no smell... thai express is much better! Haha....


Went with Shaun to eat at Bukit Panjang Plaza Jack's Place today.. funny.. i managed to psycho him to treat me! LOL.... Anyway, the steak set was pretty worth it... weekday set lunch.. upgraded $1 to Cafe Mocha from my coffee... with ice cream and soup... for abt $26 for 2 persons! =) Steak was good... although if you could afford $8 more... the steak quality would be even better.. anyway, i am not an expert in beef.... so cant really tell too much a difference....


Anyway, so far the best steak that i have ever eaten is the one at Shi-lin Market in Taipei... i find the beef is so tender.... it taste almost like chicken! LOL.... I think it costs about 150 Tai-Bi....

Pasir Ris Ghost Story

Very Shocking!
This is a real story of a young college girl who passed away last month in
Pasir Ris .

Her name was Priya.. She was hit by a truck.

She was working in a call center. She had a boy friend named Shankar .

Both of them were true lovers. They always talked on the phone.

You would never find her without handphone.. In fact she also changed her
cell connection from M-One to Starhub, so that both of them can be on the
same network, and save on the cost.
She used to spend half of the day talking with shankar .
Priya's family knew about their relationship. . Shankar was very close to
Priya's family as well. (Just imagine their love) .
Before she passed away she always told her friends 'If I pass away please
burn me with my handphone' she also said the same thing to her parents.
After her death, people cld'nt carry her body, A lot of them tried to do
so,but still can't. Everybody had tried to carry the body, the results
were the same.
Eventually, they called a person known to one of their neighbours, who can
speak with the soul of dead person and who was a friend of her father.
He took a stick and started speaking to himself slowly.
After a few minutes, he said 'this girl misses something here.' Then her
friends told that person about her intentions to burn her with her phone.

He then opened the grave box and place her phone and sim card inside the
casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It was then moved easily
and they then carried her into the van.
All of us were shocked. Priya's parents did not inform Shankar that Priya
had passed away..

After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.

Shankar :.....'Aunty, I'm coming home today. Cook something nice for me.

Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today, I wanna surprise her.'

Her mother replied, 'You come home first, I wanna tell you something very
important.'
After he came, they told him the truth about Priya.
Shankar thinks that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said
'don't try to fool me - tell Priya to come out, i have a gift for her.
Please stop this nonsense.'
Then they show him the original death certificate to him.
They gave him proof to make him believe. ( Shankar started to sweat) He
said, 'Its not true. We spoke yesterday. She still calls me.'

Shankar was shaking.
Suddenly, Shankar 's phone rang. 'see this is from Priya, see this....' he
showed the phone to priya's family. All of them told him to answer. He
talked using the loudspeaker mode.
All of them heard his conversation.
Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming.
It is the actual voice of Priya & there is no way others could use her sim
card since it is nailed inside the grave box.

They were so shocked and asked for the same person's
(who can speak with the soul of deal persons) help again. He brought his
master to solve this matter.

He & his master worked for 5 hours.

Then they discovered one thing which really shocked them.

Yim's birthday

Went out with JWJW on Monday! Met them at Heerens Thai Express. Yim's birthday today! Even xiaoyang came...

I was wondering why they wanted Thai Express.. cos i always tot that their food sucks de... based on one takeaway experience sometime back... cos somebody went to takeaway fish rice for me in camp.... as you know i dun like fish.... -_-" ... tat costed me $10.. OMG!

haha.... anyway, never mind. Try it again see how it feels like. Urmz... Overall not bad. it was a totally different experience for me....

These are the food we ordered.. LOL...




The food was great! My beef kway teow tasted fantastic. Smells good to the nose and stomach when you havent ate it! LOL... Absolutely delicious when you when u taste it.... =) The chendol was also nice! One of the most tasty chendol... with fresh coconut milk in it...Had a nice time out with them! Havent gone out with them for quite a while liao.

Service was quite good and the staff managed to persuade me to join their membership at $30... $25 voucher with a free bottle of wine and 10% discount for the whole year...







Anyway, we bought Yim Tangs Voucher as her birthday so that she can shop at Tangs!

Oh ya... they published a new CD and here they are, presenting me with their latest JWJW album! LOL... havent got time to listen to their album! LOL...

Sian...exams are coming soon and i havent even read my notes yet.... 25% test coming on this Sunday! Sucks mann! My friday and saturday gone!


Worst still i am stucked with my assignment of 60%... due on monday.... exceeded word limit by about 500 .. have to do serious editing on sunday after my test! And look at what I am doing now... Blogging at such a time when i should be mugging with my books! =X

Pink Panther Outing!

Went out with Zhenhui on Saturday! Went to Marina Square to watch Pink Panther 2! Nice movie. Its so funny lah... the starting of the movie... really worth the laughs leh.. keep on laughing.... ending oso not bad... but den the movie kinda short ... only 90 mins nia... if longer i tink would be nicer....


We ate at Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao ... Ate Zha Jiang La Mian and Xiao Long Bao.... Nice food as usual... i really love the xiaolongbao from there... haha... we ordered 2 trays to eat... =) Anyway, looks like the economy has impacted on the restaurant business... restaurant is like 3/4 full on a Saturday evening instead of the usual 5/4 with diners standing outside waiting to get in....

After the movie we walked around Suntec.... Den took 700A home. The bus is also empty! LOL... The bus was empty all the way to Newton MRT.... den the bus started packing with standing commuters. Guess its still 1/4 lesser than before.

Pardon me for not updating over a week. Have not been able to blog or surf the web as my router is spoilt until yesterday! LOL.... Have been shuttling between Mac and home... apparently I am wasting time at Mac cos Windows Vista has too much security features, blocking me from accessing their WiFi.... Zzz....
