Went to dreamworld on the 1st morning...lol.... took a taxi there with weida and his two army friends....lol... paid the local visitor rate @ 500 baht instead of 1,100 baht... save, save, save!
Day 2: DREAMWORLD
Took a taxi from hotel to Siam Paragon to have our dinner together... Weida and me went to dine in at Tony Roma's... Costs abt 1600 Baht for 2 of us.... wich is ard $72....ordered almost the same thing as we did last year in singapore...the bill was $100 den... Lol..
Siam Paragon btw, is a high class shopping centre....something like Singapore's Paragon.... quite singaporean concept based shopping centre bah... but the supermarket is damn huge! Lol...enjoyed walking ard... and oso... they have a lovely food court where u can see aquariums with fishes swimming while u dine...lol.... various breeds of fishes in different tanks ranging from guppies, swordtails... to goldfish and koi...
The whole basement houses 2 food courts... 1 supermarket, ard 10 high class restaurants.... 10 normal restaurants and a whole stretch of finger food with ard 7 cake shops... The cakes, especially, looked so delicious.... saliva dripping as i walked...lol.... Unfortunately, i didnt filmed it down...lol.... actually have...but i couldnt get the video up on youtube or blogger....
SHOPPING @ MBK Centre, Siam Centre, Siam ParagonSpent the whole day shopping at Bangkok... A lot of nice clothes.... hehe ... looks quite cheap...but tis year buy too many clothes le...didnt really interest me la.. Watched movie with weida and his 2 friends in the afternn....watched
28 weeks later at Siam paragon... the theatre and seats were much better compared to Singapore...lol... comfortable sia the seats...and looks beri grand.... 1 ticket costs 170 baht ($7.50) .... guess its their high class theatre ba???? anyway, had a taste of their thai culture... they have to stand up in attention b4 the show when a clip is shown honouring their king.... to show respect...from wad i learnt....its quite a routine thing....
after wich, we went to the place i have been looking forward to... Baiyoke Sky Tower..where we can eat international buffet at Bangkok's tallest peak....
Passed by tis Cafe Kaldino... the Green Tea Red Bean Mocha tastes very nice...lol... the coffee and cream really melts into ur mouth....only 59 Baht... hehe.... the green tea ice cream oso tastes nice... 15 Baht..... compared to the one u eat from the Japanese Ice Cream street stall in Cineleisure at 4 - 5 bucks...same taste!
BAIYOKE SKY TOWERFinally the destination i die die wan to go....hehe... Ate international buffet there....quite nice..nice food...nice ambience.. Enjoying the view from the 79th floor, Weida and me had a lovely time dining, chit-chatting and watching scenery from above..lol.... costs 940 Baht per person (ard S$42)...the skyviewing at the revolving circle floor at the 84th floor is oso included in the buffet....so i guess it's quite worth it when u visit bangkok....
Nice view yeah...could've showed u the video i filmed..but i dunno how to get it into my blog! Haizzz....
Day 4: Cha Tu Chack Sunday MarketYes.... went to Cha Tu Chack sunday market....filled with lots of foreigners, especially ang mohs.... lol.. didnt interest me a lot cos its freaking hot like hell...the weather...zzz... but its a good place for cheap bargains, ranging from assortment of shopping items from bags, shoes to handicraft, flowers and books....
Rushed back to hotel after wich after buying doughnuts at MBK...lol...bought Mister Donut! No need to queue...hehe =D.... Coolz...lol... den rushed back to check out and den home sweet home.... reached the airport too early...cos no jam..haiz...den ended stranding up at the airport...lol....
