2007 is a very unpredicting year. Sometimes, it can be filled with joy, and sometimes boredom and sadness. Why? This is a holiday year, as I have traveled overseas more than I do. 3 countries in a year! And why sad? No need to say also you should know. Less than 7 months to endure.... 200 days left!






Okok..New year resolutions. What should I have?
- Get my driving license by July
- Get into RMIT Business Degree
- Probably lose a bit of weight
- Get richer by work
- Save more money $$$ by being more thrifty
- Target a trip overseas with friends

Christmas Season!

Lol.... had a lovely short 4 hr work day on Monday! =D... That was really great! Everyone was in Christmas mood! All ready for Christmas! Lol....

Anyway, had a lovely time going out with friends over the week!
Went to Junction 8 with Tsian Hwee on Christmas Eve! We went to eat Ding Tai Fung... eat their famous xiao long bao...
Somehow or rather i still prefer either Crystal Jade or Imperial Treasure's xiao long bao... Much tastier and wetter..... though they break more easily.. Ding Tai Fung has beautiful hand-made xiao long bao...but a bit too much of flour... LOL...

Anyway, walked around Junction 8.... den found this dessert shop, Mei Heong Yuen, at the basement.... Wow.... Tsianhwee and I went to order our favourite hongkong dessert..... "Dan Lai" Egg Milk Pudding....its like a cold dessert with egg and milk mixed together to form jelly.... Got yellow and white.... but we still prefer the shop next to Macdonald's at Lucky Chinatown .... The dessert is much less dilute with a better concentrated sweet taste!

We loitered around for abt a few hours den went to watch "Alvin & The Chipmunks"... the movie was darn funny lo....its abt these 3 chipmunks who can sing very well and ended up in the city busking with a evil manager in charge but they later decide to go back to their original caretaker which they 1st met in the city. The movie is funny enuff to make me waste my $8... =D... Cute munks too...

Went home after the movie..lol...reach home at 12am sharp.. den was like pengyong called me out to eat mac... LOL... den went out to meet Weida and Pengyong! Lol.... Had a lovely time chilling at Mac with their new iced coffee b4 we went home.... LRT operating hours extended....took train at 1:30am...reached home at abt 2am....


Went out to meet Weida on Christmas Day itself.... we took bus 700A to Orchard Road... as there's an event on the bus route was diverted...and the bus is supposed to turn in to River Valley Road den u-turn back to Orchard Road at P.S. Junction. But the bus driver went straight and passed by Great World City.... and den went all the way to Tiong Bahru b4 he started fumbling and stopped at the bus stop....hoping tat his colleagues would come and save him... den he bumped onto the kerb and the bus almost toppled....close to toppling....

Lucky got 2 commuter uncles came to help driver uncle get back to Orchard... LOL... funny lo... Took us 1 hr 10 mins when we were supposed to take only 45 mins. Bought our night tickets at Cathay.... den went to Bugis to meet Pengyong...

TO? Eat mala steamboat.... There's this mala steamboat that I am so addicted with! Its "Chuan Yi Pin"....just across the street next to Bugis Junction.... Costs $21.20 per person as it was Christmas... $2 extra...the food was nice...from the soup base.... mala and normal...to the nicely sliced pork, mutton and beef..... free ice-cream....yong tau foo...eat all u wan..with some cooked Sichuan food... Nice lo..... worth the price...
weida, pengyong and i simply enjoyed it and i can see myself coming back real soon.... and u will realise u are in china when u are in there....all china chinese waiter/waitresses... and china chinese customers! LOL.... but dun worry lah... they are rich China Chinese....if not $21 how they afford to eat! LOL...

Den weida encountered this english speaking singaporean chinese who was staring there blurly and asked weida if the food is "eat-all-you-can" as he couldnt understand wad the staff was telling him. 1st thing he asked was "Do you know how to speak English?" .... LOL.... he was telling py and i after he took food from the pantry... lol....


How fun! LOL.... anyways, we walked back to Cathay to watch "I am Legend"... nice movie....pretty scary with the sound effects....and the plot was thrilling and fast-moving....enjoyed it quite a lot! LOL...

Went home after which..... This was how I passed my Christmas...how did you?

Shaun's Birthday Party!

Had lots of fun @ Shaun's Birthday Party last Thursday! =D The starting was quite boring, as I was one of the earliest. So it was like a few of us waiting for the rest to come!

It was fun towards the end! Lol.....

The fun part comes where we started torturing the birthday boy! Lol.... 4 cruel methods of torturing somebody on his birthday!

1st Method: Everybody queue up and ask him to sign an autograph

2nd Method: Smash him on his face with his birthday cake!

3rd Method: Tie him up in a pillar and write "HOW" (his surname) on him

4th Method: Buy him 2 bears as his present and force him to pose with the teddy bears. (Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear)

Eh.. I am not suggesting you guys to sabotage me like this on my birthday... OK? Please.... Haha.... Please...Not so cruel.. LOL....

2 days to Christmas!

Yeah.... in 2 days' time, we will be heading towards Christmas! Lol....So happy! Its coming to the end of the year already..... Hope things are going to be great next year.... 2008....

Saturday had lesson at BBDC.... as usual.... My most screwed up lesson though cos i went up the kerb at Bukit Batok Road... I am learning how to do the U-turn... and I u-turn too fast.... hitting the kerb... -_-" ... And den after the lesson I forgot something very important...forget to put the car at "P" (Park) ...and den step out of the car when it is "D" (GO).. den the car started moving by itself...lol..den had to jump back the car to put it at "P"...


Went out with Weida in the evening.... Went to Great World City to walk around. Den we ate dinner together...looking for something that doesnt costs abt $25 per person... Lol.... end up we ate at this restaurant called... BISHAMON Sapporo Ramen .... ate their special soup based miso ramen... the half boiled egg was great.soup wise still OK.... but the noodles was kinda big...cant finish...gyoza wise soso..haiz... i prefer waraku! Lol.... Anyway, soso lo the food...but still can eat... Chatted in the restaurant... lol...discussing abt wad we should do after ORD....haiz.... wich is so long to me....7 mths to go! Zzz...


Den watched the movie National Treasure: Book Of Secrets .... nice movie.... and for those who want to fully utilize their 8 dollars ticket!!! LOl.. its freaking 2 hrs long! Lol... funny yet adventurous movie to go.... worthy of $8! Lol...

By den it was like 12:30am..... den we waited for 3N to come and went home! Lol.... Though the outing was short...i still enjoyed it...

Meeting out with poly classmates & Shaun's 21st Birthday Party!

Wow... its been a long time since I last met up with my poly friends.... =D.... Finally met them up on Wednesday night! Lol... we had pepperlunch @ takashimaya! The food was nice! Lol... I ordered a curry beef pepper lunch and a black sesame ice cream! =D.. Anyway, had a lovely time sitting outside Taka chatting and catching up while we hear Doraemon song..... LOL....



Too bad anwen was the cameraman coz we couldnt find someone near who can take a pic for us! Beside us was one group of ahbengs....better not...later camera gone.... Lol....

Had a lovely time at Shaun's Birthday Party ytd! His 21st Birthday Chalet @ Downtown East! Took bus 966 from home and transfer 5 to DOwntown East! Wow... it took 2 hrs for me to reach! My god.... -_-"... reach there almost fainted! -_-".. reached there at 6pm.... Anyway, it was a buffet styled birthday party... Had lots of fun there! Lol.....

Shall update more abt his outing once i get the photos... Lol....

Anyway, resting at home now.... Lol.... having diarrhoea.... guess i ate something wrong .... haiz...

Happy Belated Birthday Tsian Hwee!

Celebrated Tsian Hwee's birthday on Sunday! Lol.... Met up zen 1st before meeting tsian.... =D to write greetings on his birthday card!..... met him @ marina .... dada... headed 1st thing 1st to WARAKU for dinner! Lol.... We were like so hungry.... we walked so fast to Waraku....


Anyway, I had a lovely time eating beef bowl handmade noodles!!! Nice! The gyoza and the butter scallop was nice too! Too bad we didnt take pictures of the food as we were too hungry and ate everything den remembered we 4got to take pics of the food! Lol... We oso gave tsian his birthday present! Clothes from bossini! Lol.. a brown t-shirt with a blue button shirt to tag along with....=D hope he enjoys his present!


After tat we watched the movie "Heartbreak Kid"..... all 3 of us 21 liao.... muz fully utilized the privileges of being an adult! Watch R21 movie.. LOL.... anyway, the movie wasnt much of sex scenes and all those vulgarities... no violence oso.... tink M18 at most..... NC16 oso can pass...LOL.... Its not like lust & caution AKA the porn movie! Lol... The movie was funny here and there..but urmz.... like tat lo... not really one of the best movies i watched this year lah...

After tat we wanted to give Tsian a surprise....i got my haagen daz voucher $50 mah....tat i havent used up since my birthday....wanted to order a fondue to try out and the 2 of them to share with me!.... and savour all those tasty hot chocolate.....


but u noe wad... i wanted to make tsian worried...so i told him tat since he juz got his red packet money from his parents for his 21st....should treat us! Lol.... den make him worry... abit... kinda worked....but den my helper, zen, almost end up destroying the plan...zzz....haiz....he didnt get wad i am trying to imply...haiz..almost screw up my plan.... cos it was a last min plan by me... he knew i was treating....but haiz..cant get my hint tat i was bluffing tsian...

finally we entered haagen daz..only to be informed tat their fondue is sold out...wtf! zzz... so we walked away..cos the things in the menu are all so expensive! Zzz.... only fondue looks reasonable..hai...



den we went to gluttons bay for supper! Lol... ate orh luak (fried oyster) & hum hur (stingray)... nice orh luak..... but the hum hur's chilli a bit off .... haiz.... not hot enuff ... oso got tempted by zen to buy the cold teh tarik...or dunno wad is it called..lol... den screwed..haiz....serious..no quality control.... ours was like top cold bottom warm...wth am i drinking!


den we went home...haha..... of cos lah.... if not wad... LOL....
Just realised i am 21.5 years old today! Lol...
One week to christmas....hope i can have a lovely christmas outing!!!!
Meeting poly friends on Wednesday night....Hope we'll have a good time catching up!

This week....

Finally I can sit back and enjoy my weekend here.... This week has been full of misfortunes...wtf.... haiz....

Zzz.... sucks... and my msn is still sending virus now..gonna reformat my computer next week! Zzzz..... deleted the virus prone file but it is still hiding in my comp... juz dunno where to find it! Zzzz.....


Met up with Zhenhui yesterday afternoon! Lol.... suddenly got half day off.... guess its bcos this week too unlucky liao.... muz give me some incentive after all the sufferings and hardship... LOL.... We went to Marina Square to buy movie tickets and to shop for Tsian Hwee's present for sunday's outing!

We even went to sing K! Lol... nice lo...we got a very big room...extreme 1 i mean...for 10 person de....only 2 of us...cos they dun have enuff rooms to give us! Lol... sang from 3pm to 6:30pm..... Like to go K with zen bcos he sings very well.... and oso beri entertaining de...he always got a lot of singing poses de.... dunno y....everytime different oso.... somemore ytd room so big....walk ard and all tat.... haha...

Ate lunch @ Marina Square food court! Ate roasted char siew noodles there.... =D.... ok lah....not bad.. but the ambience damn nice... can see fullerton hotel and merlion from the food court...lol... like wad we both agreed on....even restaurants cant offer tat ambience...lol...


Ate Dinner @ Bao Today .. lol..ordered their sesame buns! Damn nice! Lol... and oso ate preserved egg with shredded chicken congee there! And oso xiao long bao....food damn nice.... drink a bit sourr..... esp. zen's sour plum drink....lol...mine aloe vera drink already sour liao.... lol...

OK...wad a lovely outing! But nonetheless, we achieved our objective...after much searching....we found a present for tsianhwee...

This outing is like one of the better ones tat i have gone so far.... hope sunday's one is even more interesting.... =D....

Unlucky week!

Haiz... tis is an unlucky week.... Tuesday was really screwed.....zzz..... dio extras for something.... shant mention wad is it... screwed!!! zzz.... my weekends...OMG!!!! Zzz....

Going home I double tapped my ezlink card and paid 65 cents more! WTF!!! Cos i got 2 ezlink cards and i scanned both....zzz.... i noe can void but the bus already moved off.... so end up go behind and tap....zzz.....

And den i was walking home and i told shengde i better not get strucked by lightning today...shuay whole day liao.... (cos its raining).... lucky i didnt get struck! Zzz....

Today was just as horrible.... Keep on having strange strange people calling my office and den wasted a lot of time on them..... one wanted to call OETI and ask abt ammo and end up calling SAFAC....zzz...wth..... somemore he say he was calling something like 6462 XXXX (not 0010) when he called 6559 0010... wth.... how can somebody be so blur to tat extent..he only called 1 number out of 8 correct!

And den there were those weird weird documents coming in from weird places and i ended up receiving it from other people...zzz..... lucky managed to get it back to the right places...

Worst thing was that the water pipe burst during lunchtime and we had no water to wash when we go to the toilet!

And oso there were those leave cancellations and amendments...coming in everyday den i have to go HR branch to cancel.... -_-" .... the leave I/C see me also want to run away.... zzz.... Friday leave system reset.... no need to touch leave system for a while....yesssshhhh.....

The only thing good that happen this week was that it rained before live run today and i dun have to go ... -_-" ..

Hope the week gets better.... going out on weekends.. hope the theatre doesnt collapse when i go watch movie and i dont get hit by the car!!!! Zzz...

Wow....its been a long time since i last went to Orchard Road! Lol.... Eh...like beri long lah...but when i look at my blog posts... only 2 weeks lah... lol... but somehow or rather the other time we didnt really walk orchard road....as in leisure walking and shopping....


Yeah... Went out with JWJW yesterday! LOL..... to watch "The Golden Compass" @ Cathay! Lol.... Bought the tickets... Jesmen has a free UOB movie voucher... and i got a 3 free 1 movie ticket deal from my fairprice plus card... so we ended up paying $28.50 only for 5 tickets! Wow.... $5.70 per ticket nia! LOL.... so worth it!

Anyway, we bought the tickets at 4:30pm.... and our movie is at 9:55pm....OMG! Cos we want to watch at the Grand Cathay! -_-" ... Went to Ben & Jerry's for Ice Cream! Lol.... had a nice time eating ice cream and toking...... den we took bus to Heerens
to walk ard....den went to Cineleisure to eat dinner! Had mixed grill (pork, chicken, beef) there..... nice....not bad... with a soup for $9!!! =D... all thanks to the fast decision made cos we dunno wad we want to eat!... den we suggested food court..... can eat wadever u wan! Lol.... be it chinese or western..

Oh ya..we took neoprints @ Cineleisure....haha..its been a long time since we last took neoprints together! Lol...will update once i can .... saw Seng Kee and his gf hugging at the escalator...ha....

Time passes damn fast! By the time we go back to The Cathay..... it was already 9:45pm! Wow.... the movie was long... but when u actually sit there...its nt really...the movie was kinda interesting...except the irritating mystery element abt the dust ..... wonder what they really for fighting and running away for wad mann...
LOL.... its interesting but den wad are they really showing..lol.... but its more worth it den Pirates of the Carribean...really dunno wad they are showing.... LOL..... dun ask me to watch Pirates of the Carribean when the next season comes out! I am not interested! LOL... the only movie i banned so far! Haha... tink the other was Half Nelson....tsianhwee and I almost slept and left the theatre! LOL.... too artistic movie le..cant appreciate!



Anyway after the movie we went to Geylang to eat Dou Jiang You Tiao.... LOL...ordered mee sua there...and soyabean milk...... i tink the shilin one tastes nicer leh...lol...and my fav. shao bing ....

Reached home at ard 2am...OMG! LOL...

Have been busy attending practical lessons at BBDC recently! So busy going there almost every weekend! Zzzz.... today had my 1st rainy session! Cos its raining! But gd...at least i learn how to use the wiper.... lol....if not wad happens if it rains during my TP! Lol...
